I would like to thank you for giving me a reason to smile again. As you know, I have had veneers since I was 18 years old, and after 10 years I decided to get them replaced. My general dentist of 7 years convinced me that he was experienced in cosmetic dentistry and I allowed him to redo them. The results were devastating; the teeth were misaligned, bulky, and dull. I also experienced a considerable amount of pain as the months passed and eventually one of my canines turned gray because the margins of the veneers were not sealed properly. In these moments of desperation, I found you and you rescued me. I cannot explain the fear and anxiety that I had to deal with to undergo this procedure again but your constant reassurances and your unquestionable skill made all the difference. Just a note to say I DID make it home safely... and you are right.... I couldn't stop looking at my teeth !!!!! Even while I was driving.
I still cannot believe those pictures... You know... Dr. Pohl, when extreme makeover decided not to take me as as candidate, I became soooo depressed, I just didn't even want to look in the mirror anymore... I quit my nursing job after working 10 years to get my Masters!!!
None of it mattered...because I could not stand myself!!!
There were two wonderful men in my life that gave me what I needed to actually become the true "Belinda"... My husband for loving me enough to make it happen and YOU... Dr. Pohl to have the vision and then the artistry and expertise to see beyond that face and those UGLY teeth and find the real me!
